Every month, I'll be featuring a different mountain bike and R/C car as the Rides of the Week!
This is the featured Ride of the Month, it's the 2014 Norco Range Alloy 7.2! This bike features 27.5"/650B wheels, 6.3" of travel and a 2X10 drivetrain! The Norco Range Alloy 7.3 has a X-Fusion Sweep R fork which is air sprung, and a X-Fusion 02 R shock which has a AV air sleeve. As for the drivetrain, the brakes are Shimano Deore M445 hydraulic disc brakes, and the derailleurs are SRAM X5 front/ Shimano Deore Shadow Plus rear. The price is very reasonable, given the components: $2830 CAD, I can't get the US price because the Norco website is being a pain.
This is the featured R/C Ride of the Month, it's the HPI Racing Apache SC! This 1/8 scale short course-style truck comes RTR with a Flux Q-Base brushless ESC, Flux Alphastar 2350KV brushless motor, and a short course-styled body! The HPI Apache come standard with HPI's TF-40 radio system, which features 2.4Ghz technology, adjustable built-in failsafe for if the vehicle loses contact with the radio, dual-rates, steering ends and trims. The tires are licensed Yokohama Geolandar scale tires on scale wheels. The price is dependant on where you get it.
I found this vid on Youtube about these guys who went to Whistler Mountain Bike Park to make a video, sounds kinda boring, right? Think again, watch the whole video and you'll understand.
